Q:  What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry? 
A:  I bring years of experience working at the end of the supply chain as a receiver in retail and, through my time at Mohawk, have gained knowledge in operations, materials management, purchasing, and planning. I am a dedicated worker who is excited and ready to jump into the industry.


Q:  What role are you seeking?
A:  I am seeking a logistics planner or coordinator role. 

Q:  What made you choose this program?
A:  Growing up on a beef farm and working in the grocery industry, I have seen first hand the important role supply chains play in getting food from farm to table. Working in retail during the course of the covid-19 pandemic, I was witness to supply chain collapse at both local and international levels and wanted to do my part to help fix things now and prevent them from happening in the future.

Hobbies : I love to travel around the world to learn about other cultures, collect magnets from the places I travel and taking strolls and reading books at parks.
Any cool Fact about you?  I had the opportunity to lead a big project where we exported an oversized pressure vessel which was 5 meter in diameter and weighed 13 tons from Mexico to Callao, Peru, for one of the main oil-gas companies in Peru.
 
Q:  What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry? 
A:  My international experience in import and export processes, as well as managing oversize cargos, The contacts that I have in different places for getting transports and my knowledge in different laws with North America.


Q:  What Role are you seeking?
A:  I would like to work in Operations, nevertheless I am open also to new challenges in different logistics fields like purchasing, or material management.

What made you choose this program?
A:  I don’t have kids, but the first time I exported an oversized shipment by sea and my cargo landed, I felt like when the mothers leave their children at kindergarten for the first time, that’s why I wanted to know more about supply chain and expand my knowledge about logistics.

Q:  What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry? 
A:  My greatest strength is my ability to stay focused on my work and finish tasks in advance of a deadline. I'm not easily distracted, and this means my performance is very strong. My time management and organizational skill are also worth mentioning. I'm capable of juggling multiple projects at the same time. 


Q:  What Role are you seeking?
A:  I am open to the following positions logistics coordinator or team lead, operation supervisor, supply chain analyst, transport specialist, junior buyer or procurement associate and any other entry level supply chain and logistics jobs out there.

Any cool Fact about you?  I designed a presentation that my colleague used to present to his General Manager and Business Partners and was able to finalize a contract. They loved the presentation.
 
Q:  What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry? 
A:  My biggest strengths I would like to bring to the transportation industry are the ones that have always resulted in the growth of me and my team personally and professionally.
  1. Communication and Coordination: My biggest strength is my ability to communicate with individuals and teams confidently. Coordinating with people, projects and processes are something I learnt with my experiences in life outside work and studies. Being brought up in challenging environments taught me how to communicate well and bring people to work towards achieving an objective and goal. Transportation is a vast industry but communication plays a major role in every stage and to be able to effectively communicate and coordinate things around is a major skill.
  2. Working under pressure and analytical thinking: My ability to work under pressure while being able to provide analytical yet executable solutions are something my peers have always admired in me and is something I quite cherish. The transportation industry is a challenging environment with unpredictable problems and time pressure. Having the need to devise a plan, critical thinking and thinking quick but thinking right are strengths I developed and have always helped me.
  3. Confidence and willingness to help: This is a very personal quality which I consider my strength. I consider my confidence to face harsh situations a major reason for my success in life and willingness to help others a result of my upbringing. I consider transportation and especially the trucking industry as a close community. Having someone who is confidant to deal with things upfront and be accountable while going the extra mile to help ones in need a strength for sure.
Q:  What Role are you seeking?

A:  I am currently seeking roles in the Logistics and Compliance industries. Thou both are different in their own ways, I believe these are the industries where my strengths and knowledge can be used to add valuable actions and provide profitable results.

Logistics Coordinator/Fleet Dispatcher, Safety and Compliance roles, Transportation Management roles

​Q:  What made you choose this program?
A:  The understanding of how diverse Supply Chain is as a field of opportunity and how every major company and goods in the world are dependent on an effective supply chain. Logistics plays a major role in any industry and results in determining end user experience at times thou its not given much focus in firms. Hence, understanding Supply Chain Management is crucial and can help build an effective business and provide a great career opportunity.
