Q: What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry?
A: The biggest strengths that I can bring to transportation industry are the application of my knowledge and skills as a chemical engineer in transportation of chemicals globally and my passion for lean and efficient organization.

My Strengths Include:
- I am proficient in Procurement, Project Management, Logistics, Technical support, Quality verification, Vendor Management, Outsourcing and Supply chain planning and operations.
- I combine the experience of 5 years working in a fast moving and challenging industry and my training as a chemical engineer.
- I also became the company’s official signatory for movement of dangerous and non-dangerous goods across Asia and Europe.

A: I am seeking for a career related to supply chain operations, materials management which combines my technical skills and project experience. Where I can bring value to my organization whilst further honing my skills.

A: When I started my career as a procurement engineer, I began to understand and appreciate that this field is for me. I was fascinated how materials move throughout the supply chain globally and how raw materials are being processed, transported, and consumed by end users. Destructive impact of COVID-19 pandemic made me want to pursue more about Supply chain management yearning that soon, Just-In-Case planning will be restored to Just-In-Time.

Any cool Facts about you? Before to moving to Canada, I volunteered as a mentor to adolescents living with HIV, assisting them in developing the soft skills and resiliency necessary to overcome self-stigma.
Q: What are your biggest strengths that you are bringing to the transportation industry?
A: I possess several years of experience in coordinating the last mile delivery of critical health commodities, including drugs and diagnostics, to under-served populations in resource-constrained settings. This includes successfully reaching communities that are difficult to access.
My strengths include:
- Resource Optimization: I have honed the skills required to maximize value using scarce resources provided by stakeholders.
- Delivery Management: I have experience in managing last-mile delivery, which involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Problem-solving: My experience in working in resource-constrained settings has equipped me with the ability to think creatively and solve problems under challenging circumstances.
Q: What role are you seeking?
A: I am interested in roles within the transportation industry that can leverage my skills and experience. I am interested in roles that involve transportation and logistics management, last-mile delivery management, and resource optimization.
Q: What made you choose this program?
A: My experience working in public health supply chain in Nigeria made me recognize the significant gaps and opportunities in the transportation aspect of the industry. To equip myself with advanced knowledge and skills, I enrolled in Mohawk College's Supply Chain Management Program. I am passionate about using my expertise to tackle current and emerging supply chain problems, both in Canada and my home country, Nigeria.

A: I have accumulated extensive knowledge and expertise in health and safety, transportation, and distribution over the years. With my operational skills, I plan to utilize my proficiency in helping stakeholders identify potential markets and maximize profits.

- My competencies in procurement, project management, customer service, sales, and marketing have been honed through my diverse experiences in both local and international settings.

Q: What role are you seeking?
A: I am currently in search of a position within the areas of supply chain operations, materials management, procurement, safety and compliance, as well as logistics operations.
Q: What made you choose this program?
A: My passion for supply chain management was ignited during my tenure as an operations manager in a gas company, where I was responsible for various procurement activities, including sourcing and outsourcing to third-party logistics providers for the distribution of LPG to different selling stations. Upon moving to Canada, I found myself in a similar role, overseeing shipments to the United States via multiple fleets.
