December 10, 2025 – Milton, ON – The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC)'s Young Leaders Group (YLG) hosted a Driven to Lead – Alumni Panel and Experiential Activity event and raised funds for The Salvation Army's Christmas Collection Drive.
The event – which took place at PMTC member Northbridge Insurance's office, in Mississauga, ON, on December 3, 2025 – brought the Young Leaders Group and PMTC members together for an incredible morning of networking, sharing stories and reflecting on their experiences becoming leaders in the transportation industry.
PMTC YLG Chair Sud Malhotra, a Driven to Lead alumni, was honoured to reconnect with other alumni and learn about their stories of success – from when they took the program together to where they are in their careers today. “This event was completely inspiring for so many reasons,” says Sud. “Everyone who attended came with an open mind and heart and created a collaborative space where we could all share our stories of success, lessons learned along the way and explore the different qualities that make a leader in our industry.”December 10, 2025 – Milton, ON – The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC)'s Young Leaders Group (YLG) hosted a Driven to Lead – Alumni Panel and Experiential Activity event and raised funds for The Salvation Army's Christmas Collection Drive.

PMTC YLG Vice-Chair Stephanie Carruth was the Moderator at the event and incredibly moved by everyone's stories and generosity for The Salvation Army. “The morning was packed with inspirational stories and take-aways,” says Stephanie. “It was truly an honour to be a part of the event – and for everyone to come together for such a great cause. People donated more than their registration fee for the event, and all the proceeds went to The Salvation Army. Giving back to the community is so important to us, and we are honoured that this is our annual tradition.”
Thanks to our generous attendees, the Young Leaders Group raised $350 – plus an additional $500 that was donated by the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada – which resulted in a $850 donation for The Salvation Army's Christmas Collection Drive.
On behalf of the PMTC and YLG across Canada, thank you for all your support today – and throughout the year.
