Quebec Publishes Provincial ELD Regulations-come into effect for Provincially Regulated Carriers on April 30th.

E-Bulletin
January 23/2023

Today the Province of Quebec has published it's ELD regulations, that will make ELD's required for Provincially Regulated Carriers as of April 30th of this year. While the PMTC is in full support of ELD's and are in favour of full enforcement for federally regulated carriers, as plenty of notice was provided to comply, an announcement by Quebec with a timeline of slightly over 3 months to comply for Provincially regulated carriers is concerning to our Quebec members who are Provincially regulated only. Our office will be reaching out to express our concern and encourage a slightly longer runway for Industry. Please see below for the link to the full announcement.
