Twin City Graphics, a provider of vehicle graphics and large format commercial signage, is seeking a full-time shop assistant and shunt driver, for our weekday 8:30-5 shift.

Qualifications for this position include:

-Valid AZ license

-Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR

-Minimum three years AZ driving experience as per insurance requirements

Responsibilities for this position include:

-Safe operation of Kenworth single axle shunt truck

-Local transportation of commercial vehicles between customers and our workshop.

-Assist in preparation of vinyl graphics as required (will train)

-Back trailers into our workshop when necessary and maintain an orderly storage yard

-Perform maintenance checks on shunt vehicle as required

Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience

AZ Licensed Truck Driver

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Logistics Department, truck drivers are responsible for the pick-up and delivery of material and finished goods on a variety of routs and shifts.

We currently have an opportunity for reliable and conscientious individuals to join our team as a Licensed AZ Truck Driver at our Dundas location.

COMPANY DRIVERS

Hensall Global Logistics Drivers are responsible for the following:

·         Pick-up and delivery of ocean containers utilizing Toronto container yards as the primary hub

·         Movement of bulk agricultural products, primarily within the Southwestern Ontario region

·         Additional opportunities for the movement of bulk agricultural products to/from Ontario and surrounding states and provinces

Hours of work will vary as per shipping volumes/schedules and sleeper berthing will be required from time to time.

Applicants must possess an AZ license, clean driver’s abstract and minimum 3-5 years driving experience. Specific experience in trucking ocean containers and/or bulk agricultural products is a definite asset. We require an individual with excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to safety. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Mandate

As a member of the Risk & Resources team, The Safety and Risk Management Officer is responsible to monitor changes in the Health and Safety legislation and regulation and communicate to all relevant parties as well as educate all company employees and IC’s as required. Identify best industry practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices & financial stability.

Duties and Responsibilities 
 
 • Establish general safety management system, including preparation of:
  • H&S plan including Fire Safety

  • H&S and Fire Safety risk assessment and action plans

  • An effective Accident and Incident Reporting System

• Inform VP Risk Management and other senior management, any weaknesses concerning the provision of H&S

  measures and statutory compliance of Fortigo Companies. 

• Investigate serious injury, vehicle crashes and any other serious H&S incidents and recommend improvement.

• Develop Accident Review Committee and investigate all accidents by committee

• Identify appropriate level of staff training and awareness requirements throughout the organization and implement

  appropriate programs to meet the requirement of both internal and external standards.

• Monitor and communicate current trends in accident statistics for Fortigo and benchmark ourselves within the

  Industry.

• Perform regular meetings with H&S committee and resolve all relevant safety issues.

• Perform regular safety inspections on all facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential 

  hazards, and to ensure compliance to all safety regulations compliance.

• Manage the CVOR for FFSI, develop and execute plans to improve performance through driver and employee

  communication and training.

• Ensure our Safety and Service Awards Program is effective and maintained.

• Supervise Direct reports

• Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment.

• Liaise with IC recruiter to ensure Safety and Compliance is address during orientation.

• Liaison with Safety Manager in Quebec for support and to ensure Quebec and Ontario are sharing information and

• Coordinate Fleet Advisory Committee meetings

• Manage accident claims, and freight claims in conjunction with Insurance Company

• Responsible for Customer Relations and Dedicated Account management

• Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers

• Writing reports analyzing the customer service that Fortigo provides
