improvements in highway design and regulations regarding optimum
speeds, vehicle weights, bridge structure, crossing safety, etc.

To recommend
improvements in the occupational health environment for operational
personnel.

To seek uniformity
in transportation legislation and regulation.
Enforcement and

the enforcement of, and compliance with, existing regulations.
Private Trucking
Rights:

legislation and/or regulation enhancing the rights of private

national and international uniformity and compatibility in transportation

To protect
the rights of private carriers to freely utilize leased equipment
and personnel in their operations.

and recommend fuel conservation measures.
